The past year has been very tough for most economies in the world. Families and businesses have struggled to keep their finances intact. One of the industries that have been affected is the hotel business. Though travelling is inevitable, it has become hard for them to encourage customers to pay even for the same price of hotel room. The recession has also prompted them to raise some of their prices just to get more income. Wise players in the field however, devoted their time doing loads of improvements and renovations in their hotel chain to get ready for when the economy has recovered. One thing they realized is the reception area is as important as the amenities in the rooms. Many of them have come up with gimmicks like putting White Christmas lights in the front desk area and doing some minor renovations.
In the past years, companies have been using traditional Christmas lights in making accents for their establishments. Nowadays though, with the threat we have in our environment, going green is the trend. Instead of using fluorescents and traditional lights, businesses can use LED lights. These are weatherproof and more durable. This means that they do not have to purchase new lights on such a regular basis that it becomes too much of an expense. These lights also help save up to 90% of power consumption and are therefore very environment friendly.
More and more businesses have discovered the beauty and function of LED lights. Hopefully, in the near future, more of these will be used in beautifying different establishments and contributing to Mother Nature at the same time.
