An officer receives a text message that says there is an Officer’s Meeting in ten minutes. The problem is that he is still in the house still getting ready for the day. This is something that everyone does not want to happen to them. See, one of the main problems in an organization is the failure of communication. It can cause a lot of problems and headaches. One of the main ways to eliminate this is to use tools to facilitate communication. A sure way to do this is wit the use of cork boards.

One can say that an organization is lost without these things. They are the ubiquitous office props that help employees about the goings on within the office. Contained within this information as simple people’s birthdays and meeting dates. However, fail to look them or dismiss them as unimportant and you could be missing the next meeting of the union.

Of course, tacked onto these cork boards are the memos and announcements that everyone should be paying attention to. Claim ignorance of these and the officemates will look at you in a weird way and say that they were on the boards. Maybe this is another way for them to pick out the employees who really pay attention. You never know but the bosses might suddenly give out a surprise quiz on when the next meeting will be. Or you might still be loitering at your desk and you didn’t know that they are already talking about you in the conference room.
